We are looking for a product-minded Data Analyst to join our Investment Team

NordicNinja is a household name in Northern Europe, attracting ⅓ of its deal flow from all of Europe. To make sense of all the data, reduce cognitive load of memorization, and guide decision-making, we are looking for a product-minded data science enthusiast capable of building automated dealflow analysis tools, continuous deal and market monitoring systems that create accumulating advantages for the Investment Team as it scales its operations.

As a NordicNinja Data Analyst, you will 

• Work with Investment team to define, lead, and execute NordicNinja’s analytics strategy
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify areas for improvement and automation
• Build a development roadmap of tools and processes towards building self-serve systems to enable others in the organisation to perform analyses to make better decisions
• Build automation systems, within and between existing systems and applications
• Partner with investor relations managers to support data collection for thematic reports

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in SQL, ability to write efficient and optimised queries against databases
• Experience with data warehousing, data modelling, dashboarding, and reporting
• Proficient with at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, or R)
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and modelling
• Strong communications skills
• Optional: experience in working with similar dealflow tools, i.e. Crunchbase, Pitchbook, etc. and/or companies, i.e. VC, PE funds.
